Delete all local Beat Tap data
- Open Beat Tap.
- Open Settings from the Music tab.
- Select Delete All Local Data.
- Review and accept both confirmation prompts.
This removes saved video and audio projects, the current edit, working media copies, downloaded Shared Cloud videos, beats, thumbnails, app preferences, caches, and temporary files stored by Beat Tap on that device.
Delete a Shared Cloud folder
- Open the Video tab and select Shared.
- Return to the shared-folder library.
- Long-press a folder you own.
- Select Delete from Cloud and confirm.
This makes the cloud folder and its sharing code unavailable and schedules its uploaded videos and thumbnails for deletion. It does not remove copies already downloaded to another device. If you keep the downloaded folder on your own device, its local copy can remain available without a cloud icon until you remove it separately.
Folders not deleted early are scheduled for deletion after their selected 3-day, 7-day, or 30-day retention period, including purchased extensions. Infrastructure processing may not finish at the exact displayed second.
Delete individual local items
- Delete saved projects from the Export tab.
- Remove downloaded shared folders from the Shared folder library.
- Delete completed exports from Photos or Files wherever you saved them.
- Revoke Photo Library access in iOS Settings.
- Delete Beat Tap to remove its local app container according to iOS behavior.
Cloud Balance and transaction records
Deleting local data or Beat Tap does not delete the pseudonymous Cloud Balance ledger. Purchase, credit, debit, upload, extension, refund, and fraud-prevention records may be retained to restore remaining balance, prevent duplicate transactions, reconcile Apple refunds, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
You can request deletion of eligible server data by contacting us. Some transaction records may need to be retained. Deleting the Apple-linked cloud identity may permanently remove access to remaining Cloud Balance and owned-folder history.
